Almond Butter

– 3 cups raw almonds
– 3 tablespoons oil

1. This takes a little bit of patience.  We used a Ninja Blender, but a food processor will work too. Put almonds in blender.
2. As you can see by the pictures the blending is a slow process. With the blender method it took about 20-25 minutes.
3. Add a tablespoon of oil every 5 minutes to help the almonds start to form a moist texture.4. You will know when it is done when it is smooth and has the consistency of the picture below.

P.S. It also works with dogs like peanut butter!
