Santiago Oaks Regional Park is a small park tucked behind some residential streets. While there, we went on the Historic Dam Trail. It is short scenic route that ends at a small dam. When there is a lot of water the dam is a pretty waterfall, so make sure to go during a wet season. The park has many trails so if this one is too short then explore the others. The park is $7 to go in so I would bring a lunch and make a day of it in the picnic areas.
